「SPGキーレス」は、モバイルアプリを使ってスマホをルームキー代わりにしちゃうというホテル業界の新しい試みで、事前登録さえすればホテル到着時にフロントでのチェックインが不要となる革新的なサービスである。現時点では、対象ホテルは残念ながら日本未進出の「W」「アロフト」「エレメント」の3ブランドのみ。

対象ブランドが若者をターゲットにしたW、アロフト、エレメントということもあり、すっごいポップな動画で仕上げられている。

【キーレスの利用手順】
1. スマートフォンにSPGアプリを登録し、プッシュ通信の受信設定をする
2. SPGキーレス導入の対象ホテルを予約、ホテルご到着24時間前までに「SPGキーレス」利用の希望を通知
3. チェックイン前に客室番号とBluetoothキーがアプリに送信されてくる
4. ホテル到着後、フロントデスクに寄らずに直接客室に上がり、客室ドアの前でSPGアプリを開きBluetoothの起動を確認。
5. スマートフォンをドアノブの受信機に近づけ、緑色のランプが点灯したら入室
